The Sun has launched a new campaign to improve safety of Britain’s booming aesthetic treatments industry.
While the treatments are increasingly popular, the Sun is raising awareness of the sad fact that the industry remains unregulated, so there are no minimum requirements for practitioners to have any particular qualifications, skill or training before they buy or inject dermal fillers. This puts patients at risk and there are many stories of bad experiences. The consequences can be devastating when things go wrong.
