The facial profile treatment looks at the relative projection, shape and position of three key areas of the face that form its basic structure:
- Chin
- Nose
- Lips
To get the ideal facial profile it’s about looking at the angles between different features. There are ideal angles between the forehead and the nose, the nose and the mouth and the mouth and the chin. Although non-surgical rhinoplasty is the core of facial profiling, the real gains are when you make a nose fit with other features of the face, especially the top lip and chin. A well done procedure should create a sense of harmony, and should never make someone look fake. As well as angles, we also look at proportions, and try to use leonardo da vinci’s ‘golden ratio’.
