A beautician faced trial in court this week after being arrested in May 2012 charged with fraud.
She had been practising botox injections claiming that she had training and qualifications from a Harley Street school, yet it emerged that she had never completed the course.
The case arose when a client suffered swelling after having botox and approached a solicitor, who in turn referred her to the police who investigated the case and brought a case for fraud by false representation.
Botox is a prescription-only medicine that offers patients excellent anti-ageing results by relaxing the fine dynamic facial muscles allowing the skin to appear softer and less lined. However, any medical procedure involves some element of risk and it is important therefore to choose a qualified, skilled and experienced clinician; who understands facial anatomy and physiology as well as the beauty aspect.
SkinViva in Manchester offer botox and dermal fillers across the North West and enjoy high patient satisfaction ratings. Their treatments are all carried out by clinicians and doctors who have trained in aesthetic procedures.
The Company was established over 5 years ago by Dr Tim Pearce and remains a medically led company with strong ethics and high standards. They have recently established their own training school to help other medical professionals learn the skills and techniques necessary to good practice.
