The story of a former rugby league player’s surgery-free nose job has hit the local press this week. Adrian Moore, 38, from Batley, played half-back for the Huddersfield Giants. His nose was shattered 3 times in just 4 months, leaving it with a collapsed right nostril, giving him difficulty breathing and looking extremely crooked and out of line. Press Coverage:
The amateur coach said:
“My nose was constantly running. I couldn’t breathe properly. I’d get these strange tingles down my nose, too, which has obviously been caused by nerve damage.”
However, rather than having expensive surgery, Adrian has had his nose rebuilt by Skinviva’s Dr Tim Pearce.
He said:
“I’m not one for surgery – but it wasn’t anything like that – it was just needles. I think it’s a fantastic procedure.”
The procedure uses the latest long-lasting fillers to even out asymmetry, bumps and hollows; making the nose straighter and more even. This is ideal for patients who don’t like the idea of surgery – there is no hospital stay or unpleasant recovery. The price saves thousands of pounds compared to surgery too, as treatment costs £595.
