If you are new to the idea of semi-permanent make up , then you might be wondering just what to expect.
Long-lasting cosmetic tattooing is becoming very popular with a variety of people for many reasons, ranging from simple convenience, to wanting to look better and feel more confident with or without makeup.
Here’s our guide to what happens when you come in for your consultation.
Is there a patch test?
Yes, we do need to test for any potential reactions before treatment starts. A ‘patch test’ can be sent out free of charge in the post for use at home, or else a ‘scratch test’ can be carried out on the day prior to treatment.
What preparations do I need to make?
For eyebrow treatment, there is no need for any special preparations.
For lip treatment, if you have any coldsores, these will need acyclovir treatment prior to tattooing.
What about Top Ups?
Top-up may be required but not always
Failure to have top-up within 18m means full paying treatment again
Do I need a Consultation?
A consultation carried out before treatment for all patients, even those that have already had treatment before. A £100 deposit is payable, but this is refundable for clients that don’t proceed
