✅ DO This:
- DO bear in mind you’ll need to avoid getting too hot for 48 hours after Botox/fillers, for example strenuous exercise, drinking alcohol, hot weather, sun beds, sauna, steam room
- DO call us if you get a cold sore and are having lip filler because you won’t be able to have treatment
- DO bring your bank sort code and account number if you’d like to pay by interest-free monthly payments
- DO call us if you want to spread the payments
- DO call us if you’re currently taking Warfarin or other blood thinning medication, because there is an increased risk of bruising
- DO call us if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. You won’t be able to have treatment
- DO bring a list of the medication you’re taking for the Clinician to review
❌ DON’T Make These Mistakes!
- DON’T wear makeup, or try not to, if you’re having an injectable treatment. However if this is unavoidable, our Clinicians will wipe and clean the area.
- DON’T drink alcohol 24 hours before your appointment if having an injectable treatment – it thins your blood and can increase bruising.
- DON’T take ibuprofen, aspirin, or other anti-inflammatories for 24 hours before any injectable treatments – these can also increase bruising.
- DON’T book treatment right before a big event – some swelling and bruising are completely normal after injectable treatments. Give yourself time to heal!
- DON’T wear fake tan – our Clinicians need a clear view of your skin for the safest treatment.
- DON’T arrive late! Give yourself plenty of time – if you’re rushed or stressed, your experience won’t be as smooth and we may not be able to complete the full treatment plan.
- DON’T bring children or pets – your appointment needs your full attention.
