Experts are predicting that the non-surgical treatments market will continue to grow at a healthy rate over the next 5 years, as more and more people have regular skin treatments as a matter of course.
The report entitled ‘Aesthetic Medicine Market forecasts and insights – 2027’ was issued by Global Market Insights, a global market research and management consulting company .
While considering the impact of the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic, it looks at data and information about the aesthetic medicine industry, which was valued at $14.5 billion in 2020, with non-surgical treatments accounting for 63%. Researchers expect the market to see a CAGR (combined annual growth rate) of over 9.2% between now and 2027. The increase is to be attributed to expanding awareness of the benefits of treatment. North America’s aesthetic medicine market accounted for 51% of the revenue in 2020 and this is expected to grow as expenditure on cosmetic and rejuvenation procedures rises.
As more people become aware of the benefits of having aesthetic treatments, so more new patients will start having treatment and it becomes even more socially acceptable to invest in non-surgical anti-ageing and beautification procedures.
SkinViva Clinic has certainly seen strong growth over the last few years (ignoring the impact of the pandemic when treatments were unavailable due to lockdown restrictions).
Clinical Director, Dr Tim Pearce, founded SkinViva in 2008 and has seen the business go from strength to strength. In the last 14 years, the company has become one of the leading providers in the North West, moving to fabulous new premises in central Manchester to cater for the growing numbers of clinicians and clients it caters to.
The secret to SkinViva Clinic’s success is a ‘less is more’ approach, avoiding over-treating their patients so that they have a result which is aesthetically pleasing and looks entirely natural. Delivering great results for clients is also good for business as it means high levels of loyalty and repeat visits. It also builds the company’s reputation through reviews and recommendations, leading to further expansion.
Dr Tim Pearce explains the treatment philosophy behind SkinViva Clinic:
“We’re not just a vending machine for treatment. The thing I’m most passionate about is that we’re offering an artistic restoration; our best work is noticed on an almost subconscious level.
“It’s subtle. I never want to cross that line of looking unnatural. We do little adjustments in a lot of places, looking at the whole face in context.
“The difference between fashion and beauty is that you might get your lips done and then look back at your wedding pictures in years to come and cringe. That will not be the case with my treatments because real beauty is timeless.”
High clinical standards remain at the heart of the business and all injectable treatments are carried out by medically qualified clinicians; including doctors, dentists and nurses.
Building on the success of SkinViva Clinic, the SkinViva Training Academy was established in 2013, which gives other medical professionals the chance to learn how to administer injectable skin treatments like Botox injections and dermal fillers.
Dr Tim continues:
“…we want to champion the fact we’ve put an enormous amount of investment into the training of our clinicians and making our consultations as client-centred as possible.
“We also want the brand to reflect a feeling of wellbeing and happiness.
“It’s not just about getting rid of wrinkles and having a vanity-obsessed approach to looks, it’s about clients walking out of our clinic feeling great, having been freed of something that’s holding them back.
“Our slogan is ‘Love Your Look’, as our goal is for every client to love their look when they leave the SkinViva clinic.”
SkinViva was established in 2008 and has an excellent reputation for offering high quality skin treatments in the North West, based at their main clinic in Manchester. The company is best known for its injectable treatments, carried out by highly trained and skilled clinicians. In 2021. SkinViva launched a full range of advanced SkinCare facials, which are effective alongside injectable treatments or as a standalone option.
