'Liquid rhinoplasty' - nose reshaping with dermal fillers

If you struggle with the shape or size of your nose, the non-surgical nose job is a cost-effective alternative to surgery.

Many men are deeply unhappy with the profile of their noses. It may appear too large, too small, too wide or narrow, lopsided or with a noticeable ‘hump’ or ‘hook’ shape. We also see patients whose noses have been broken in the past and are left crooked and misaligned.

A nose which isn’t in balance with the rest of the face can really be very noticeable and many of our patients have suffered lack of self-esteem due to the way they feel about their noses, even bullying.

Non-Surgical Nose Job

This innovative procedure is almost too good to be true. It is carried out using advanced dermal fillers to smooth out unevenness and create a better shape and profile for your nose. This can radically improve the appearance of your nose, yet the procedure takes only half an hour.

Compared to surgery, the treatment is a fraction of the cost and there is minimal downtime, whereas the surgical route to nose reshaping involves months of recovery.

SkinViva’s team of Aesthetic Doctors and Dentists are specifically trained in nose reshaping.

How does treatment work?

SkinViva’s Aesthetic Doctors and dentists use advanced dermal fillers (such as Juvederm Voluma) to gently re-shape the nose. Careful addition of volume allows the doctor to sculpt a straighter, more even nose which is in harmony and balance with the rest of the face. For example:

  • Smoothing out dips or depressions on the nose for a straighter profile
  • Adjusting the angle of the tip of the nose (either to lessen a ‘hook’ or smooth out an upturn)
  • Reduce the bumps or bends
  • Decrease flared or wide nostrils
  • Smooth out cavities and irregularities left after trauma (breakages)

Every nose is different, but with non-surgical rhinoplasty, the technique is simply adjusted to suit each individual’s own very unique requirements.

Should I have surgery?

The non-surgical route offers excellent results at a fraction of the cost compared to surgery. There are other advantages to take into account too:

  • Less traumatic – no need to ‘break’ the nose
  • Significantly faster recovery
  • Immediately visible results
  • Adjustable – results can be tweaked with extra injections

Using dermal fillers means that the results won’t last forever, but the procedure can be repeated. What’s more, further treatments can be adjusted to suit any subtle changes to your face as you age or change weight.

We've nicknamed this procedure the '30 minute nose job' as that's literally how long it normally takes. Sometimes it's even less, as quick as 15 minutes, although very complex cases will of course take a little longer.

The most common problem that we treat is known as the 'Dorsal bump'. This is the classic bump on the bridge of the nose that can create a hook-like appearance.

Procedure costs depend on the amount of filler required. Normally only one syringe of dermal filler is used, See our prices tab above for pricing information.

Yes, non-surgical nose jobs are a very good option for correcting complications or irregularities after surgical nose jobs. The use of dermal filler injections allows for very fine and precise adjustment of shape and the doctor can see the results straightaway, so is able to work at creating a highly satisfactory result

All SkinViva's non-surgical nose jobs are completed using Juvederm Voluma - the market-leading dermal filler - which is a safe and long-lasting hyaluronic acid filler from the latest generation of products.

You can see the difference straightaway.

Results generally last up to 2 years. They do not last forever, as the gel is broken down naturally by the body and is re-absorbed.

When the treatment wears off, it can be repeated.

Yes definitely - this is actually compulsory. Your consultation will be with a SkinViva Aesthetic Doctor and will include discussion of relevant medical history as well as your aesthetic concerns, what you're looking to achieve and how we can best help you.

Yes - for this, the doctor would build up the base of the nose using dermal filler. This would lift the tip for a straighter profile, lessening the droop.

Yes. Only 1 in 20,000 treatments result in an allergic reaction. Although dermal fillers can be reversed using another injection, this requirement is extremely rare.

Compared to surgery, this is very straightforward:

- You can immediately resume normal daily activities such as work/home/social life
- Avoid excessive alcohol, exercise or sun for the first 24 hours
- Expect some initial redness, swelling, and bruising from the injections - this will pass relatively quickly. Arnica gel can help with any bruising
- Avoid applying pressure to the area for a couple of weeks

At SkinViva all of our treatments are bespoke to you meaning our practitioners will never give you a result that doesn’t suit you, even if that means refusing treatment altogether sometimes.
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty can achieve dramatic results in a very short period of time so it is important to prepare yourself for the fact that your face may look very different. Our doctors & dentists will give you a full overview of what to expect from your treatment during your consultation process.
